YOU CAN HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Special Olympics is a worldwide organization dedicated to providing opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive, and respected members of society through sports training and competition.

Benton County coaches and assistant coaches are all VOLUNTEERS. All athlete training is provided by these volunteer coaches. They are role models and character builders. The coaches help athletes gain new skills, learn rules, improve their self esteem, show courage, and discover their capacity to grow. Programs are provided free of cost to all athletes. You can HELP!

INSPIRE GREATNESS

The MISSION of the SPECIAL OLYMPICS is to proviide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for individuals with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skill and friendships with their families, and other Special Olympic athletes and the community.
